Cookies and what the site remembers
No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no measurement cookies. The site remembers four things in your browser, and all four so that you do not have to do something twice.

1. What is stored
- The language you are reading in.
- Experiences you saved for later.
- Bookings made in this browser, so your confirmation stays to hand.
- The code of the hotel or receptionist you came through — the cookie named “waygo_ref” — so the referral is credited to whoever showed you Waygo.
The first three live in browser storage, not in a cookie. The fourth is a cookie because the server has to read it at the moment a booking is created.
2. Why there is no consent banner
Consent is required for cookies that are not necessary for what you asked for — typically audience measurement and advertising. There is no advertising here at all, and no Google Analytics or Meta Pixel.
We do count how many people visit, using Vercel Web Analytics. It stores nothing in your browser — no cookie, no identifier — and does not follow you to other sites. It counts anonymous page views and four steps: that an experience was opened, that a checkout was opened, and that a booking either went through or did not. Each carries only which service it was and which hotel or desk you came through — **never your name, your e-mail or your travel date**. Because nothing is stored on your device, there is nothing to ask permission for, which is why there is no banner. If we ever add measurement that does store something, we will ask first, and refusing will be exactly as easy as accepting.
3. How to clear it
Clear site data in your browser settings. Your saved experiences and the links to your bookings in this browser will go — the booking itself is not cancelled by that. It lives in the voucher e-mailed to you and in our records.
